These terms cover your use of ravgb.com (the “site”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. They are written to be clear and honest, and they are not a substitute for legal advice.

Who you are dealing with

RavGB is an independent studio based in Calgary, Canada, and not yet a registered company. Anything on this page is an understanding with the studio, because the entity does not exist yet. We state it plainly because a site that looks corporate can imply otherwise. When registration completes, these terms will be reissued naming the entity, and this section will go.

Acceptable use

Please use the site normally and lawfully. Do not try to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the site or anything behind it, do not use it to send unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content through the contact or signup forms, and do not scrape or copy it at a scale or in a way that disrupts it. We may limit or refuse access to anyone who does.

The content on this site

These pages are informational. We try to keep them accurate and we correct them when they are wrong, but we do not promise that everything here is complete or current, and nothing here is professional advice. Descriptions of what we do reflect what is true at the time of writing, and we intend to keep them truthful.

The site is provided as is

The site is offered as is and as available. We do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, error free, or secure, and we do not warrant that the information on it is complete or fit for any particular purpose. You use it at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RavGB is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on anything on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Our services

What we describe on the site is an overview of the work we do. Any actual engagement, a website, a video, a DevOps piece, or a custom build, is covered by a separate written agreement we scope with you before work starts. These site terms do not themselves create a contract for services.

The newsletter

The newsletter is optional. If you subscribe, we use the email address you give us only to send the newsletter, we never sell or share it, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe. How we handle it is set out in the privacy policy.

Links to other sites

This site links out to other sites we do not control, and we are not responsible for their content or their practices.

Our brand and content

The RavGB name and the logo on this site belong to us, and the text and design of these pages are ours. Please do not present either as your own or reuse them in a way that suggests we endorse or are connected to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the studio and the site change. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and the current version is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and any dispute relating to the site will be dealt with there, without affecting any rights you have under the law of your own country.
