Begun at one potter's wheel, in a borrowed studio.

We stock nothing we would not keep ourselves. If a piece does not earn its place in a real room, it does not earn a place here.

Maison Vale started as a weekend table of seconds from a single ceramicist. Today we work with more than a hundred makers across the country, but the brief has not moved: honest materials, fair prices for the people who make them, and objects that feel better the longer you own them.

Made by hand, in small batchesEvery piece is thrown, woven or turned by a named maker we work with directly.
Natural materials, honestly describedClay, linen, brass, seagrass and wood. No plastics dressed up as something else.
Repaired, not replacedFree mending on ceramics and re-caning on furniture for as long as you own the piece.
