About RavGB
A small operation with one product and a narrow definition of done.
RavGB started from an observation that is easy to check. Most websites have accessibility problems, and most teams only find out when somebody complains or a deadline arrives.
Large organizations solve this by hiring specialists. Most teams cannot, and the ones who most need checking are usually the ones least able to pay for it. So the tooling has to be cheap enough that running a check is not a decision anybody has to justify.
Our mission
Make it cheap and obvious for any team to find out whether its website excludes people, and to know what to fix first.
The second half of that sentence matters as much as the first. A list of problems with no priority is another thing to feel bad about. A list of three things to fix this week is work you can actually do.
Our vision
A web where a two person team ships a site as usable as one built by a team of forty. Not because the standards got easier, but because the checking got cheap and the advice got specific.
How we work
Narrow scope, finished edges. One product that does a small thing properly beats a suite that does many things vaguely.
Honest claims, on the page. When something does not work yet, we say so where you would look for it, not in a footnote. There is a section on the Kithe page listing what it does not do.
No lock in. Kithe reads your site from the outside. Nothing is installed, so there is nothing to remove if you stop using it.
Company status
RavGB is not registered as a company. There is no incorporation, no company number and no registered office, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim that there is. Registration is in progress. When it completes, the details will be published here and this section will be replaced.
